# How to Make It:

01 - Combine olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, Italian herbs, and lemon zest in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly until ingredients are well incorporated.
02 - Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Allow to marinate for 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
03 - Sprinkle grated Parmesan and chopped parsley over the marinated shrimp. Toss again to ensure even coating on all pieces.
04 - Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 2 minutes before cooking.
05 - Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
06 - Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking basket or turning shrimp halfway through cooking time. Shrimp are done when opaque and lightly golden.
07 - Transfer cooked shrimp to a serving plate. Garnish with additional fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

# Expert Hacks:

01 -
  • The Parmesan forms this incredible crust that you normally only get at restaurants
  • Eight minutes from start to finish makes this the fastest fancy dinner I know
02 -
  • Overcooked shrimp turn into rubber, and there is no coming back from that mistake
  • The single layer rule is annoying but absolutely necessary for that restaurant quality result
03 -
  • Pat shrimp really dry before the marinade or the coating slides right off
  • Let them rest for two minutes after cooking so the juices redistribute
