# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 1.1 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
02 - 1 tsp salt
03 - ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - ½ tsp garlic powder
05 - ½ tsp onion powder

→ Sliders Assembly

06 - 8 mini slider buns
07 - 8 slices cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
08 - 16 dill pickle slices
09 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (for toasting buns)
10 - 1 tbsp ketchup (optional)
11 - 1 tbsp yellow mustard (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
02 - In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
03 - Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into small, flat patties slightly larger than the buns.
04 - Grill or pan-cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
05 - In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover briefly to melt.
06 - While the patties cook, brush the cut sides of the slider buns with melted butter and toast them, cut side down, on the grill or skillet until golden.
07 - Assemble each slider: Place a beef patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun, top with two pickle slices, and add ketchup or mustard if desired. Cap with the top bun.
08 - Serve immediately while warm.

# Expert Hacks:

01 -
  • Everything tastes better in miniature form, and these prove the rule
  • The cheese melts into every cranny while pickles cut through the richness
  • They come together in under 30 minutes, making weeknight celebrations possible
02 -
  • Don't press down on the patties with your spatula, you're only pressing out the juices that make them delicious
  • Let the cheese melt completely before attempting to move the patties, or you'll lose that perfect cheese drape
  • Toast your buns even if it feels like an extra step, it's the barrier that keeps everything from getting soggy
03 -
  • Bring your ground beef to room temperature for 20 minutes before shaping, it helps the patties cook more evenly
  • Invest in a good instantread thermometer and aim for 160°F for perfectly cooked beef
