03 - Add shredded chicken along with half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir thoroughly to distribute ingredients evenly.
04 - Evenly spread the prepared dip base into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
05 - Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled blue cheese evenly over the surface.
06 - Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the dip is thoroughly heated.
07 - Remove from oven, allow the dip to rest for 5 minutes, then top with fresh chives or sliced green onions if desired.
08 - Serve hot with celery sticks, carrot sticks, tortilla chips, or pieces of crusty bread.
